Hello! I’m Cátia, a illustrator (self-taught, yessss!) hailing from Portugal. Yep, I’m a millennial—born in ’89! Mom of three, dreamer, and proudly a little bit weird.
I love photography, books, music and those perfect cold sunny days! Like many, I navigate anxiety and imposter syndrome (this two little shadows) every day, but I’m learning to live with them. If you’re into kindness, honesty, and dislike itchy sweaters and arrogant vibes, we might just get along!

My journey as an artist wasn’t a straight line – life had other plans for me. I felt that I had no place for many many years… But my love for art helped me finding my way! That reborn happened in 2020, when I picked up a pencil again, relearning the basics and simply enjoying the process. Next, I embraced digital drawing, diving deeper into the world of art. Then, in 2023, I took a leap of faith and founded Wonderbee – a way to build confidence. Commissions and constellation maps followed, with online sales beginning in 2024. But after a break in 2025, I realized something was missing – a spark, a connection. That’s when I created Wonderbee – this little whimsical character that loves constellations, allowing me to share beautiful illustrations alongside fascinating facts about the stars.
